Where to Get a Thanksgiving Meal in Austin
There’s no doubt Thanksgiving will look a little different this year for many of us. It might be a smaller meal at home, or a socially distanced Friendsgiving if traveling to see family isn’t and option. If you want to leave the cooking up to someone else, I’ve got you covered. Many restaurants in Austin are offering a special meal for the holiday, for dine in or take out. Here’s a list of some of them:
Hotel Ella
Hotel Ella is offering socially distanced dining on Thanksgiving Day in Goodall's dining room, in addition to Thanksgiving Meal Kits to-go.
Mattie’s
The restaurant has in house dining and curbside to go options. Thanksgiving will be served family style at the restaurant or a family meal package is available for curbside pickup. Orders need to be placed by November 19.
Lonesome Dove
Thanksgiving hours are Noon-9:00 p.m. with a special holiday menu that includes Herb Roasted Turkey Breast, Corn Bread Stuffing and Foie Gras Gravy along with Bourbon Chocolate Pie for dessert.
Mañana at South Congress Hotel
Holiday pies (chocolate bourbon pecan, curry pumpkin and caramel apple) & festive ice cream pints are available for pre-order at Mañana until November 22nd.

Café No Sé
Café No Sé will be open on Thanksgiving from 7am-7pm for reservations + walk-ins, featuring holiday specials like pumpkin pie french toast, turkey confit with rosemary focaccia stuffing, and brown butter chai and sweet potato ice creams.
La Condesa
You can order a to-go Friendsgiving meal kit that feeds 6-8 comfortably. The menu features a La Condesa twist on holiday favorites, like confit chicken with masa-based gravy, chorizo & cornbread stuffing, sweet potato tamales and jalapeño brussels sprouts with bacon jam, available for pre-ordering 11/6-11/7 for pick-up 11/18-11/22.
Rosedale Kitchen + Bar
Chef Janelle Reynolds has teamed up with Chef Joanne Irizarry of Wanderlust Craft BBQ curate your Thanksgiving meal this year. Choose from 24-Hour brines and oak smoked whole turkey or turkey breast, along with sides and warm pecan cobbler for dessert.
The Peacock
The Mediterranean restaurant at the Proper Hotel downtown has a Thanksgiving To Go menu that includes a whole turkey, sides and desserts. Order deadline is November 20 for pick up November 25.
Fairmont Austin
The hotel is offering Thanksgiving To Go for pick up on Wednesday, November 25. Meal packages feed 4 or 8 people.
Fresas
The South First Street location of this favorite Mexican spot will offer turkey meals, sides like chorizo stuffing, and a spicy citrus-serrano cranberry sauce, and pies for pick up on Wednesday, November 25.
Hoovers
The down home cooking at this Austin favorite is ideal for a cozy Thanksgiving at home. The restaurant will offer to go meals by the plate or in family packs that feed up to 8 people. There’s also the option to order whole or boneless smoked turkeys along with sides a la carte. The Thanksgiving Day preorder ends November 20.
LeRoy & Lewis
The barbecue trailer outside Cosmic in South Austin will have half or whole smoked turkeys, brisket, and sides available for pre-order through November 18. Pick is Wednesday, November 25.
Micklethwait Craft Meats
The barbecue trailer will offer family meals with turkey or brisket plus sides. Ordering just the smoked whole meats, sides and pies are options as well. Pick up available November 23-25.
Contigo Catering + Dispatch
Contigo is offering a Thanksgiving menu for preorder and pickup or delivery. The menu options include a full prix fixe menu of sides, rolls and dessert (does not include turkey) or a la carte options from turkey, to sides, to pumpkin pie, serving 8 people.

Olamaie
The southern food restaurant is offering “Everything but the Turkey” dinners for six which will include Chef Michael Fojtasek's renditions of classic sides like broccoli and cheese casserole and cornbread sage stuffing as well as the restaurant’s famous flaky buttermilk biscuits and biscuit dough cinnamon rolls for the next morning. Orders available for pickup November 24.
Oakmont
Order a Thanksgiving meal that includes a turkey, 5 sides and gravy to feed 6 people. The restaurant is also offering sides a la carte and pies for pick up. Order deadline is November 19 for pick up on Tuesday, November 24.
2nd Bar + Kitchen (Domain)
Socially distanced tables are available by reservation only from 12-6pm on Thanksgiving Day. The menu includes slow roasted citrus spiced turkey along with main dish alternatives, sides and desserts.
Colleen’s Kitchen
The Southern food restaurant in the Mueller area will be offering take and heat farmhouse feasts that serve 2-6 with turkey, gravy and all the sides. There’s also the option to just order the trimmings along with pecan pie and chocolate chip cookies for dessert.
Launderette
The East Austin restaurant will offer Thanksgiving To Go meals along with sides and desserts available for pickup on Wednesday, November 25. Food will come fully cooked with reheat instructions.
The Carillon
The restaurant at the At&T Center on the UT campus will offer a special Thanksgiving at Home that will include turkey breast, sides, pies and rolls. Ad ons also available for those who want extra of anything. Orders will be accepted through November 20 with pick up on the 25th or 25th.
Andiamo
The Italian restaurant will offer a menu of Thanksgiving sides and housemade pumpkin ravioli, with the option to add bottles of Italian wine.
Green Cart Pantry
The digital deli launched its holiday deli menu which includes Southwestern roasted sweet potatoes, pecan cranberry Brussels sprouts and pecan roasted butternut squash. The cutoff for Thanksgiving orders is Monday, November 23 for delivery on the 25th.
